박범수 박사후연구원(지도교수: 이승철), 서울과학기술대학교 MSDE학과 조교수 임용

박범수 박사(2023.10-2026.02, 박사후연구원)가 2026년 3월 1일부로 서울과학기술대학교 MSDE (Manufacturing Systems and Design Engineering) 학과에 조교수로 임용되었습니다. 

박범수 박사는 산업인공지능 연구실(지도교수: 이승철)에서 기계공학 기반의 전문성을 바탕으로 인공지능과 물리 기반 모델을 융합하는 연구에 집중해 왔습니다. 

특히 경계조건의 불확실성과 복잡성을 고려한 AI 기반 설계 기법을 개발하고, 이를 역설계 및 고차원 설계공간 탐색에 적용하는 방향으로 연구를 수행하며 해당 분야에서의 활용 가능성을 확장해 왔습니다.

Dr. Beomsu Park Appointed as Assistant Professor

Dr. Beomsu Park, who served as a postdoctoral researcher from October 2023 to February 2026,

 has been appointed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Manufacturing Systems and Design Engineering (MSDE)

at Seoul National University of Science and Technology, effective March 1, 2026.

During his tenure at the Industrial AI Laboratory under the supervision of Professor Seungchul Lee, Dr. Park focused on integrating artificial intelligence with physics-based models, leveraging his deep expertise in mechanical engineering. His research notably involved developing AI-driven design methodologies that account for the uncertainties and complexities of

boundary conditions. By applying these techniques to inverse design and the exploration of high-dimensional design spaces, he has significantly expanded the practical applications of AI within the field.
