At the Forefront of AI Innovation in Smart Manufacturing

Dear colleagues and partners,

My name is Seunghwa Ryu, and I serve as the Director of PRISM-AI InnoCORE.

This newsletter is intended as a platform to share how our vision of
“practical realization of AI-driven innovation in manufacturing”
is being translated into real progress.

PRISM-AI InnoCORE goes beyond developing models;
our goal is to build AI systems that operate effectively
in both research environments and real industrial settings.

In manufacturing contexts characterized by limited data and complex decision-making,
we are working to develop solutions that enable AI to function
reliably and seamlessly in practice—
from materials development and structural design
to process optimization and anomaly detection.

To this end, we collaborate with world-class postdoctoral researchers
to directly tackle real-world industrial challenges,
and meaningful outcomes are already beginning to emerge.

PRISM-AI InnoCORE will continue to grow with a clear focus on
“AI that drives real change beyond research.”
