이노코어 사업 PRISM-AI 연구단 소속 윤용진 교수 연구팀의 김형철 박사가 파견중인 (주)로자이크 기업이 팁스(TIPS) R&D 일반트랙 사업에 지난 10월 최종 선정되었다.

팁스(TIPS) 사업은 중소기업기술정보진흥원 (TIPA)가 주관하는 창업성장기술개발(R&D) 사업으로, 민간 투자사를 통해 우수한 창업기업을 선별하고 민간투자와 정부자금을 매칭 지원하여 고급 기술인력의 창업 활성화 도모하기 위한 사업으로 알려져 있다. 일반트랙으로 선정된 기업은 최대 5억원의 정부 R&D 자금을 지원받을 수 있으며, 과제 기간은 24개월이다. 또한, 단순 자금 지원을 넘어서, 운영사를 통한 보육·멘토링, 네트워크, 글로벌 진출 연계 등 종합적 지원을 받을 수 있어, 기술창업기업의 성장과 사업화를 위한 실질적 발판이 마련된다. 이번 (주)로자이크의 팁스 선정은 민간 투자자로부터의 신뢰와 함께 정부의 연구개발 자금이 매칭된 상태에서, PRISM-AI 연구단의 기술 역량과 사업화 가능성이 동시에 인정받았다는 뜻이다. 앞으로 이 회사는 확보된 자금과 지원 인프라를 바탕으로, AI 기반 지능형 설계 및 제조 기술의 개발 및 시장 진입을 본격화할 수 있는 유리한 고지를 확보했다. 윤용진 교수는 “AI 기반 자율제조 기술은 미래 산업의 핵심 역량으로, 이번 팁스 사업 선정을 통해 PRISM-AI 연구단과 (주)로자이크 간 협업의 지속성과 실행력을 공식적으로 확보하게 되었다”며, “앞으로 PRISM-AI 연구단의 기술 사업화 역량을 한층 강화해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

ROSAIC Inc., a company hosting Dr. Hyungcheol Kim from Professor Yong-Jin Yoon's research team at the InnoCORE PRISM-AI Center, was selected for the TIPS R&D General Track program in October. The TIPS program is an R&D initiative for startup growth organized by the Korea Technology and Information Promotion Agency for SMEs (TIPA). It is known for identifying promising startups through private investment firms and providing matching government funds to foster entrepreneurship among highly skilled technical professionals. Companies selected for General Track receive up to 500 million KRW in government R&D funding over a 24-month period. Beyond mere financial support, they receive comprehensive assistance—including incubation, mentoring, networking, and global expansion opportunities—through the program operators. This establishes a solid foundation for the growth and commercialization of technology startups. The selection of ROSAIC Inc. for TIPS signifies simultaneous recognition of the PRISM AI Research Center's technological capabilities and commercial potential, backed by trust from private investors and matched government research funds. Moving forward, the company has secured a strategic advantage to accelerate market entry, and the development of AI based intelligent design and manufacturing technologies, leveraging the acquired funds and support infrastructure. Professor Yong Jin Yoon stated, “AI based autonomous manufacturing technology is a core capability for future industries. Through this TIPS selection, we have officially secured the continuity and operational momentum of the collaboration between the PRISM AI Research Center and ROSAIC Inc.” He added, “We will further strengthen the technology commercialization capabilities of the PRISM AI Center.”
